Polyspun Cartridge

Polyspun Sediment cartridges offer a simple means of filtration.

They are made from spun bonded polypropylene, the manufacturing technique of these cartridges results in no centre core to the filter, thus not restricting the filter performance.

The materials also provide a resilient barrier to bacterial/chemical influence – preventing any build of unwanted waste (e.g. algae).

Cartridge Information

Filter cartridge manufacturers rate cartridges in "microns". Microns are a size measurement of the pore size, so the smaller the number, the tighter the filter. One-micron filters are for drinking water only. In general, they are too tight to filter large amounts of water without slowing the flow to unacceptable levels.

Filter cartridge manufacturers also use the words "absolute" and "nominal" to describe their products' micron ratings. Absolute means absolute. Nominal means "more or less."

Sediment filtration is a vital part of any water filtration process. A sediment filtration cartridge does just that, it removes the sediments from the water source you are trying to filter. At times preparing the water quality for the next stage in the process so that cartridge can perform at its best and last for as long as possible.There are different types of sediment filter cartridges. FLUORIDE REMOVAL 97%

This fluoride removal filter made in the USA effectively removes fluoride in your drinking water up to 97%. The fluoride removal media is made from the same minerals that rubies and sapphires are made from in crystalline form.

The filtration process is called "selective absorption". Which is a mixture of physical/chemical reaction where the fluoride ions are removed by binding to the medias oxidised surface.

This is a very highly porous material with a massive surface area of 200 square metres per gram, providing great fluoride filtration results.
