Here’s what you’ll need:
Ingredients
- ½ cup cooked millet: Mild, nutty, and naturally gluten-free, millet is one of the most alkalizing grains. I
- ½ cup cooked green lentils: Protein-packed and fiber-rich, lentils add heartiness to your bowl while keeping your blood sugar stable.
For the Veggies (feel free to mix and match):

½ cup chopped broccoli (lightly steamed or raw)

Creamy Vegan Avocado Basil Dressing:
This dressing is what pulls the whole bowl together, creamy, herbaceous, and zesty with a tang that cuts through the richness just right.
You’ll need:

Juice of 1 lemon

2–3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

A handful of fresh basil leaves (optional: add some fresh parsley)

2–4 tbsp water (to thin)
Instructions
✅ Step 1: Cook your millet and lentils
If you haven’t already, cook your millet (2:1 water to millet ratio) and green lentils according to package instructions. Let them cool slightly.
✅ Step 2: Prep your veggies
Wash and chop all your veggies. Lightly steam broccoli if desired (for easier digestion), slice cucumbers, halve tomatoes, shred cabbage, and cube avocado.
✅ Step 3: Blend your dressing
Add all dressing ingredients to a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add water gradually to reach your desired consistency.
