Chanca Piedra is a small bush that grows up to 30-60 cm high. It grows in the wild in the tropical zones of Peru. Its stems are thin, covered with soft bark, the leaves are elliptic, green/yellow, the flowers are small, white or yellow. Chanca Piedra became famous mainly thanks to its ability to crumble and remove the gall stones and kidney stones from the body. The ability helped to earn its name as the “stonebreaker”.
