What’s better than starting your day with a thick, creamy, and insanely satisfying Avocado Green Smoothie? It’s the perfect fuel for a more vibrant, energised you.

Adding frozen avocado to smoothies has been a game-changing hack for many smoothie lovers, and now it’s your turn to taste the difference.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Ingredients:

  • 1 small apple, cored and chopped: Adds natural sweetness and a dose of fiber to support digestion and keep you full longer. Choose a red apple for more sweetness or a green apple for a slight tang.

  • 70g fresh spinach: Spinach is mild but rich in iron, magnesium, and antioxidants that help fight inflammation and support overall vitality.

  • ½ cucumber, peeled and chopped: Adds a refreshing, hydrating base and lightens up the blend. Cucumber is packed with water and vitamin K, helping with hydration and skin health.

  • 1 small ripe avocado, peeled and pitted: The MVP of this recipe. Avocado brings that irresistibly creamy texture while loading your smoothie with heart-healthy fats, fiber, potassium, and vitamin E for glowing skin.

  • 200ml unsweetened almond milk: A light and nutty plant-based milk that keeps things dairy-free. You can sub with oat milk or coconut water if desired, just avoid overly sweetened milks.

  • 1 tbsp raw honey (or maple syrup for a vegan version): A touch of natural sweetness that balances the greens. Honey also has antibacterial properties, while maple syrup adds minerals like zinc and manganese.

 Step-by-Step Instructions:

✅ Step 1: Prep your ingredients:

Wash and chop your produce. Core the apple (no need to peel it unless you prefer to), slice the cucumber, and remove the avocado pit. Measure your spinach and milk.

✅ Step 2: Add ingredients to a high-speed blender

Layer the almond milk first (it helps everything blend smoothly), then toss in your spinach, cucumber, apple, and avocado. Finish with your sweetener of choice.

✅ Step 3: Blend

Blend on high for 45–60 seconds, or until everything is completely smooth and creamy. You want a velvety texture — no chunks or bits left behind.

✅ Step 4: Taste and adjust

Want it thinner? Add a splash more almond milk. Need it sweeter? Add another half tablespoon of honey or a Medjool date.

✅ Step 5: Serve and enjoy

Pour into your favorite glass or smoothie jar. Top with a sprinkle of hemp seeds, coconut flakes, or a few apple slices if you're feeling fancy.
